For his exaltation Rocín Gil premiereó the espolín “Fallera Mayor de Valencia” in brown color “Habane”, a natural silk dyed specifically for her.
The espolín has been woven manually in three work shifts, using approximately 600 hours to weave 13 meters of this fabric. In the choice of the coloring of both the background and the floral motifs, apart from the design team of Vives y Marí, it has been counted with the personal taste of the Fallera Mayor.
Brown, a strong and sober color at the same time, has not been used in an exaltation by a Fallera Mayor of Valencia since 1992. In this fabric it is combined with 35 weft colors in the floral ornaments, and two metals.
The twelve señoritas of the Court of Honor also wore in their official costumes of the nineteenth century our fabrics. They are silk narrow silk that carry the drawing "San Joan", worked with 16 colors of weft and metal Gold Volteado. The background colors are Turia, Petróleo, Castor, Aubergine, Antique Gold and Pruna.
