A prestigious exhibition covering some of the main suppliers of Valencian clothing and accessories was inaugurated last night in the Mosaic Room of the Estació del Norte train station.
Vives y Marí was present with a stand created in collaboration with Can Can En Pac. The event was attended by Clara María Parejo Pérez and Raquel Alario Bernabé , Falleras Mayores de Valencia 2017, who with the traditional ribbon cutting inaugurated the exhibition.
Situated in the center of the city next to the Plaza de Toros and just 200 m from the town hall the Estación del Norte is a terminal station of monumental character and modernist style inaugurated in 1917 by the Compañía de los Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España. It stands out for its ornamental richness and its large proportions. In 1983 it was catalogued as an Asset of Cultural Interest. It also enjoys the consideration of historical station by Adif.
An emblematic place, perfect for celebrating the Valencian Costume, and the Fallas in its entirety, which last year UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site. An exhibition in which until next March 6 visitors can enjoy a wide collection of fabrics, tablecloths, dressings, combs, jewelry and cancanes of the most prestigious manufacturers.
