On Tuesday 15 September, the Falleras Mayores of Alzira 2027, Claudia Gomis Sanmartín and María Benedito Iborra, visited the Vives y Marí facilities, accompanied by their respective courts of honour and members of the Junta Local Fallera of Alzira.
During this heartfelt visit, the Fallera Mayor and the Fallera Mayor Infantil received the espolín silks that will adorn their official dresses throughout their reign.
The background colours of these treasured fabrics will remain a closely guarded secret until the dresses are unveiled at their respective exaltation ceremonies.
The espolines feature the "Alzira" pattern, an exclusive design owned by the City Council that only the Falleras Mayores of Alzira have the privilege of wearing.
At the same event, the fabrics for both Falleras Mayores' second official dresses were also presented, along with the fabrics for the official dresses of their Courts of Honour.
In keeping with a long-standing company tradition, the queens of Alzira's 2027 Saint Joseph festivities signed the Vives y Marí Book of Honour, leaving a written record of their gratitude for the company's valuable contribution to their official attire.
