The Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Seda de Valencia inaugurated last month the temporary exhibition “El Color de las Sedas Valencianas” in which color is the protagonist. Throughout the three months of duration of the exhibition – from May to August – the pieces on display will be changing, so that each month the exhibition will be renewed presenting new pieces.
This month, two of our firm's richest historical clients lent their costumes to the event, two beautiful and unique spurs that can be admired for a month in the main hall of the exhibition.

....while a Pruna background spolín suit with drawing “Alzira” was donated by Maria Esplugues Torró, Fallera Mayor de Alzira 2014.
This third temporary exhibition offered by the Silk Museum of Valencia follows the line of previous exhibitions: the search for a link between tradition and our current society. This time color is the protagonist. The exhibition aims to pay tribute to the art of the Silk Dyers in Valencia. In ancient times, dyeing was a craft, tradition and knowledge transmitted through the dyers, which lasted until well into the nineteenth century and was giving way to the novelties of the chemical industry.
