This year Vives y Marí collaborates with the official costume designer of the Court of the Fallera Mayor of Valencia for the elaboration of the official costumes of the nineteenth century and eighteenth century.

Serrano y Navaló n, will be the firm responsible for the manufacture of the first and second official costume. The first will be made with a narrow lampas of natural silk called "Alegría”. This drawing is characteristic of the Valencian designs of the nineteenth century and belongs to the collection of old drawings of our historical archive.

The most important feature is the motif composed of a central bouquet that takes center stage in the fabric framed by a border. The other is its background of nobility worked in a champagne tone. For the ornament has been used a cream gold metal turned cream.

.

The fabric of the second official costume, reproduces a drawing of the eighteenth century that bears the name of “Criptana”. For this occasion we have opted for a classic damask made with a straw-colored weft that stands out on all the backgrounds, providing simplicity and lightness to the fabric.
