The Fallera Mayor of Alzira premieres his Espolín

María Pons Gómez, Fallera Mayor of Alzira 2015, has premiered its Official Espolín, woven in Vives y Marí and made by Ely Gomis.

The Exaltation of María Pons Gómez, has been a very important moment for Vives and Marí. The Fallera Mayor of Alzira has released one of the most prestigious fabrics of Spain: an authentic Spanish with an exclusive drawing that bears the name of his people.
The Espolín has been made with a warp in natural silk in color “Tinto”, while for the weft have been chosen 36 colors that give the drawing enhancement and life, and 4 metals.
The six señoritas of the Court of Honor have worn another fabric of ours: a labradora en rayón en color Pagoda with the drawing Carcaixent. The particularity of this fabric consists in the absence of metals and in its white woven border.
