Just today, the official presentation of the clothing of the Bellesas del Foc d'Alacant 2025 and their respective Bridesmaids took place.

The event was held at the Tor de Rejas Restaurant in Alicante, where the exclusive fabrics that the representatives of the Bonfires of San Juan will wear during the official acts of the most emblematic festivities of the city were shown.

This year, traditional Alicante clothing will come to life in the figures of Adriana Vico Melgar, from the Diputació-Renfe bonfire, and Valentina Tárraga Quesada, from the Rabassa bonfire.

The spectacular set of fabrics thatpresented is the result of months of dedication and meticulous craftsmanship by the Vives y Marí team.

For La Bellesa del Foc, two impressive fabrics have been created: a second official suit made of 54cm narrow silk with the drawing "La Paz" and a "Verde Orientale" background, and a third suit also in narrow silk with the drawing "Carbonell" in the background "Moka".

For the Beauty of the Children's Fire, two spectacular sets have also been prepared: a second official suit in 54cm narrow silk with the drawing "Pauli" and a background "Infant Blue", and a third suit in the same type of silk with the drawing "Santa Judith" on a blue background "Fjord".

The first official costumes of the Bridesmaids, along with thecolors of the first official costumes of the Bellesas, made with two espolines "Bellesa del Foc" always by Vives and Marí, will not be unveiled until the acts of proclamation planned for next weekend, thus maintaining the expectation and mystery that surrounds this very special moment.

Older bridesmaids will wear more of our signature fabrics during the holidays: the second official outfit will be a narrow rayon with "Pisa" pattern in "Oxford" blue, and the third set will be a narrow cotton brocade with "Ceres" pattern in "Optical" white.

For children's ladies, we created equally special models: a second suit in narrow rayon with "Pretoria" pattern on "Berry" background, and a third in narrow brocade with "Ceres" pattern in "Moss" green.

The official clothing of theBellesas del Foc represents one of the most emblematic elements of the Bonfires of San Juan, a festival declared of International Tourist Interest. The traditional costume of Alicante, with which the Bellesa del Foc is dressed following the tradition of the Alicante bride, constitutes an identity symbol of great cultural value that dates back to 1932, when the first official representative of these festivities was chosen.

The presentation that took place in the Tor de Rejas Restaurant is a prominent event in the calendar prior to the Bonfires of San Juan, which will take place from June 20 to 24.Attendees were able to appreciate the meticulous textile work, embroidery and selection of fabrics that make up this exclusive collection of traditional Alicante costumes, a reflection of the cultural and festive richness of the city of Alicante.

Vives y Marí thus continues with its commitment to preserve and enhance one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the Alicante culture, dressing with respect and dedication the highest representatives of the Bonfires of SanJuan 2025.
