The mayor, Gabriel Echávarri was in charge of placing the sash that certifies her as Bellesa del Foc 2016, as tradition dictates. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the festivities of the Province, the Comunitat and Murcia. The maintainer of the proclamation, the rector of the University of Alicante Manuel Palomar, asked the young women to "enjoy every moment" that awaits them this unforgettable year.
It was known, finally, the color of the spur that Vives y Marí has woven for Ana: white background with the drawing "Fogueres de Sant Joan", exclusive of the Alicante City Council for five years.
