Once again this year, the company Vives y Marí collaborates with the City Council of Valencia and Junta Central Fallera to dress their top representatives.

For this occasion Vives y Marí has woven the Espolín that our Fallera Mayor of Valencia, Marina Civera Moreno, premiered last night on the occasion of her solemn Exaltation at the Palau de la Música.

The Espolín has been woven by hand using approximately 650 hours to weave 12 meters of fabric.

The costume designer Eduardo Cervera is in charge this time of making the costume so that Marina can look with all its splendor in such a long-awaited night.

In the choice of the coloring of both the background and its floral motifs, apart from the design team of Vives y Marí, has been counted with the personal taste of our Fallera Mayor.

The background color "Atlantis Blue", is a shade of dark blue that owes its name precisely to the depths of the ocean. As the main metal has been used gold turned cream, which together with the combination of soft and powdery colors that have been applied for their different bouquets get a fabric with a lot of personality, bright and elegant at the same time.

It is a classical composition drawing from the late 18th century, based on an important central bouquet surrounded by a border of metal and small flowers, woven with 16 weft colors and gold metal.

For the long-sleeved bodices, a print has been woven to match the Dignity design.
